WHERE ARE WE?
Coolah, NSW, Australia
Cas Bar Haven Stud is situated on the north eastern side of Coolah township, about 20klms from town. Our property is tucked away in a picturesque setting of both native bushland and pasture improved acres. This combination of country and terrain gives a good base to our horses training program. With cattle, goats, sheep and an alpaca, the horses also get to see and work with a variety of stock. Click on this link, Coolah, to find out where we are located.
ABOUT HORSES NATURALLY HORSEMANSHIP CLINICS
An introduction to Wayne Caslick - Horses Naturally
I would like to introduce to you a quiet achiever who has been working with horses most of his life. Wayne Caslick is the ‘eclectic horseman' - meaning he selects the best method to suit the horse and rider to best achieve a goal based on the natural approach and horse psychology.
Over the last 2 years, Wayne and his wife has been working towards establishing a Levels System whereby horse and rider, through either clinics or individual lessons, can work through a more stuctured system to achieve a consistent training method for both horse and rider. The Levels can be achieved through either individual lessons or Horsemanship Clinics.
Wayne is an Accredited Australian Stock Horse Level 1 Coach and his wife Jenny holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Certificate 11 in Horse Management. You can find out more about the Level System on Coaching page.
The Natural Approach - Horse Training
Wayne is open-minded to many styles but truly believes in a more natural approach to achieve the best from any horse. His unusual way of involving the rider/owner during the whole process of starting (breaking in) a horse allows the passing on of valuable knowledge and skills from educator to horse owner, thus empowering the owner to build a good relationship incorporating ground skills and into the saddle skills. They gain a greater understanding of every aspect of the education process as well as having lessons on the horse before they both go home.
Wayne has a simplistic, gentle and supportive way of educating people to understand such complex concepts - concepts that are said to be only used in higher levels of riding.
